CDC Foundation Features Teens Tackle Hunger

echo was featured in a highlight article for the CDC Foundation to show the 'Work in Action' that organizations across the country have been putting in to end hunger and food insecurity. 🙌

Teens Tackle Hunger consisted of echoReverb teens, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, and community partners at ReCity Labs launching two venture ideas to feed kids in Durham over the summer. For 4 weeks over summer 2024 Durham Public School Kitchens closed and approximately 15,000 kids were going to be without access to meals. echoReverb teens in TTH helped fill the gap by serving 3,000+ meals for Durham youth and families.
